Job summary

Hunter Douglas in Sydney's Rydalmere area is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant for the 6am–2pm shift to support our Receiving team. You’ll handle stock, verify invoices, and ensure accurate stock movements, contributing to on-time deliveries and a smooth operation.

Ideal candidates have warehouse or manual handling experience, RF gun proficiency, and a current forklift and driver's licence. This casual role offers on-site parking and opportunities to go permanent.

About the role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including:

Receive, inspect and verify incoming stock to ensure accuracy and quality.

Cross-check deliveries against purchase orders, invoices and relevant documentation.

Accurately record and process stock movements within warehouse systems.

Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies, damaged goods and missing stock.

Maintain a clean, organised and compliant receiving area.

Investigate stock variances and support effective inventory control processes.

Work collaboratively with warehouse and operational teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across receiving and inventory processes.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organised, and enjoys working in a hands‑on environment.

You will ideally have:

Previous warehouse, logistics, or manual handling experience

Good communication skills and a strong work ethic

The ability to work safely and efficiently in a physical role

Must have RF gun experience

MUST HAVE full driver’s licence and forklift licence
