Job summary

ACM Parts in Somerton, VIC is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to join our fast-paced team. You will handle order picking, operate forklifts, assist with loading and unloading trucks, label and store parts, and complete paperwork to ensure accurate tracking for our customers.

We value candidates with previous warehousing experience, LF forklift licence, LO order picker licence (desirable), and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Previous Warehousing experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• LF Licences (Forklift) – essential.
• LO Licence (Order Picker) – desirable.
• Mechanical experience is desirable.
• Intermediate computer skills are required.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Eye for detail and quality control before items leave the warehouse.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow safe work practices (OH&S).
• Automotive knowledge would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Order picking and accurate selection of parts.
• Operate MHE including order picker and forklift.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks or transportation vehicles.
• Label and store parts accurately in warehouse.
• Complete and verify paperwork for tracking parts and orders.
• Pack and wrap parts for distribution.
• Perform general warehouse duties as required.

Role responsibilities

• Order picking
• Operation of MHE (Order Picker and Forklift)
• Assisting with loading and unloading trucks or other transportation vehicles
• Labelling and storing parts accurately
• Completing and verifying paperwork to ensure accurate tracking of parts in the warehouse and to our customers
• Packing & wrapping parts for distribution
• General warehouse duties as required
