Job summary

Australian Automotive Parts is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Storeperson at our Coopers Plains, QLD branch. This full-time, Monday to Friday role runs 8:00am–5:00pm and focuses on accurate receiving, storage, picking and despatching of automotive parts.

You will ensure stock accuracy, operate pallet jacks and RF systems, and support a safe, efficient warehouse. Applicants must have NZ/Australia work rights; forklift licence preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, ideally in automotive
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse with KPI delivery targets
• Competent with RF scanning and stock accuracy systems
• Strong safety, manual handling and WHS understanding
• Excellent communication and organisation with attention to detail
• Able to work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and despatch automotive parts accurately
• Pick and pack orders with high accuracy and speed
• Maintain precise stock locations and replenish inventory
• Update inventory records through data entry and systems

About the Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, we are currently seeking an experienced full-time Warehouse Storeperson to join our team at our Coopers Plains branch. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our warehouse operations, while upholding the highest standards of safety, organisation and presentation. This is a permanent Monday to Friday position, 8:00am to 5:00pm, supported by an annualised salary.

About You:

You are physically fit, safety-focused and have a strong attention to detail. You take pride in accuracy, efficiency and teamwork, and are capable of performing the following duties:

• Receiving, storing and despatching automotive parts accurately and efficiently
• Picking and packing customer orders to a high standard with a focus on accuracy and speed
• Ensuring precise stock location, handling and replenishment to maintain warehouse flow
• Maintaining accurate inventory records through diligent data entry and system updates
• Assisting customers with parts identification and order fulfilment in a professional manner
• Participating in stocktakes and cycle counts as required
• Safe and competent operation of pallet jacks and all warehouse equipment
• Upholding a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment at all times
• Applying strong attention to alpha/numeric detail to ensure inventory accuracy throughout

Skills & Experience:

To be considered, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Solid knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, ideally within the automotive industry
• Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment with the ability to perform under pressure
• Confidence using computer systems and RF scanning technology to manage and maintain stock accuracy
• A strong track record of delivering KPI results including pick accuracy and delivery in full
• Competent and safe operation of pallet jacks and all warehouse equipment
• Experience in pick/packing, receiving, dispatching and stock replenishment
• Forklift Licence (LF) is preferred but not essential
• Sound understanding of workplace health, safety and manual handling requirements
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
