Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, we are currently seeking an experienced full-time Warehouse Storeperson to join our team at our Regents Park (NSW) branch. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our warehouse operations, while upholding the highest standards of safety, organisation and presentation. This is a permanent Monday to Friday position, 8:00am to 5:00pm, supported by an annualised salary.
You are physically fit, safety-focused and have a strong attention to detail. You take pride in accuracy, efficiency and teamwork, and are capable of performing the following duties:
Receiving, storing and despatching automotive parts accurately and efficiently
Picking and packing customer orders to a high standard with a focus on accuracy and speed
Ensuring precise stock location, handling and replenishment to maintain warehouse flow
Maintaining accurate inventory records through diligent data entry and system updates
Assisting customers with parts identification and order fulfilment in a professional manner
Participating in stocktakes and cycle counts as required
Safe and competent operation of pallet jacks and all warehouse equipment
Upholding a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment at all times
Applying strong attention to alpha/numeric detail to ensure inventory accuracy throughout
To be considered, you will be able to demonstrate:
Solid knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, ideally within the automotive industry
Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment with the ability to perform under pressure
Confidence using computer systems and RF scanning technology to manage and maintain stock accuracy
A strong track record of delivering KPI results including pick accuracy and delivery in full
Competent and safe operation of pallet jacks and all warehouse equipment
Experience in pick/packing, receiving, dispatching and stock replenishment
Forklift Licence (LF) is preferred but not essential
Sound understanding of workplace health, safety and manual handling requirements
Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
