Job summary

Taipan, an Australian hydraulic hose and fittings company, invites applications for a Warehouse Assistant in Rocklea, Queensland. This full-time, permanent, entry-level role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with a consistent 40-hour week.

You will pick and pack, load/unload, operate forklifts, handle stock takes, and liaise with transport services while ensuring safety standards. Salary is A$60,000–A$65,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Be coachable and take pride in your work.
• Physically fit with good hands-on skills and an eye for detail.
• Knowledge of hose and fittings is desirable but not necessary.
• Comply with Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and either have or be willing to obtain a forklift license.

So much so that we are in need of a new Warehouse assistant to join our growing team.

This is a Monday-Friday position, with consistent 40-hour weeks.

What you’ll be doing:

• Pick & pack orders, load/unload vehicles, and operate forklift trucks.
• Answer telephone enquiries and liaise with transport/courier services.
• Conduct stock takes, report on stock levels, and ensure quality control.
