Job summary

Hydraulink is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our Cairns team. You'll learn hydraulics basics and support goods flow from Inwards Goods to Dispatch.

This role offers a clear learning path within a supportive, family-like culture and opportunities to progress as your skills grow. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude; forklift licensing is valued, and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or inwards goods experience would be useful.
• Enthusiastic, fit and a great team player with a can-do attitude.
• Basic computer skills would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Picking and dispatching hydraulic fittings orders.
• Cutting and dispatching hydraulic and industrial hose.
• Operating the high reach forklift truck.
• Creating and dispatching monthly stock orders for customers.
• Putting away monthly inward stock and stock replenishment.
• Hose testing, stock taking and cycle counting.

Your job will be to help the team ensure the best possible flow of product from Inwards Goods to Dispatch. Our goal is to make sure the right product is in the right place at the right time, every time.

What you will be doing:

• Picking and dispatching hydraulic fittings orders

About the person

• Excellent physical stamina
• HR Forklift licence (highly regarded)
• Detailed and thorough working habits
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and quickly
• Be able to work well under pressure and deadlines
• Basic computer skills would be helpful
