Job summary

Manassen Foods is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor to join our national distribution centre. Working as the 2IC to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead day-to-day warehouse activities, support the warehouse and administration teams, and help ensure products move safely, accurately and efficiently through the operation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse and distribution activities across inbound and outbound operations.

What You'll Be Doing

You will coordinate warehouse and distribution activities across inbound and outbound operations, lead the warehouse and administration teams, and support reliable service, inventory control and continuous improvement.

• Warehouse& Distribution Operations - Coordinate inbound productfrom local and overseas suppliers and support the safe, accurate and timelymovement of outbound orders within agreed quality, cost and servicerequirements.
• TeamLeadership - Provide day-to-day direction, coaching andsupport to warehouse and administration team members. Build capability,accountability and effective teamwork across the operation.
• Freight& Service Coordination - Optimise freight movements,maintain productive relationships with transport providers and support thedelivery of agreed customer service levels.
• Inventory& Systems - Support inventory accuracy, warehousemanagement system discipline, operational reporting and effective supply chainprocesses.
• OperationalExcellence - Manage day-to-day operational issues, reviewworkflows and implement practical improvements to processes, procedures andproductivity.
• Safety,Food Safety & Quality - Promote safe work practicesand ensure compliance with workplace safety, food safety and quality standardsfor employees, contractors and visitors.
• StakeholderPartnership - Work collaboratively with internal teams,external providers and senior leaders, contributing a warehouse and logisticsperspective to operational decisions.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience in a warehouseteam leader or supervisor role, with exposure to a broad range of warehousingand distribution activities
• Experience coordinating transport, freightor distribution activities, ideally within FMCG, food, manufacturing or asimilarly fast-paced environment
• Practical experience using and maintaininga warehouse management system, with a sound understanding of inventory andsupply chain processes
• Strong people leadership skills, with theability to coach, organise and motivate a small operational and administrationteam
• A strong commitment to workplace safety,food safety, quality and operational compliance
• Highly organised, with the ability toprioritise competing demands, resolve issues and meet operational deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communicationskills, with the confidence to build relationships across a range of internaland external stakeholders
• Sound judgement, initiative and practicalproblem-solving skills, including the ability to work independently whenrequired
• A proactive, accountable and continuousimprovement mindset
