Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in warehouse administration, HR, logistics or a similar environment.
• Experience preparing staff rosters and coordinating employees based on operational requirements.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing inventory, documentation and employee records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with warehouse staff, management and internal departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for maintaining records and preparing reports.
• Ability to analyse operational information, identify discrepancies and implement practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare warehouse staff rosters, allocate personnel according to operational requirements and arrange additional staff during peak periods
• Monitor warehouse employees' attendance, working hours and shift allocations, and liaise with HR on relevant workforce matters
• Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels and movements, and investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of goods to ensure efficient warehouse operations
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation relating to inventory, stock control and distribution activities
• Conduct regular stocktakes, reconcile physical stock against system records and report material variances
• Support day-to-day warehouse administration and coordinate workflows to ensure operational requirements are met efficiently
• Maintain records of warehouse assets and equipment, monitor their allocation and condition, and coordinate asset checks, replacements and repairs
• Procure warehouse supplies, equipment and consumables, including liaising with suppliers and maintaining purchasing records
• Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes, inventory controls and resource utilisation while ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable requirements
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards by driving compliance with 5S principles
