Job summary

VDS Contract Manufacturing Pty on the Gold Coast is expanding its warehouse team to support daily operations, inventory accuracy, data entry, and shipment records while coordinating with suppliers, freight companies, and management.

This role offers room to learn how the business operates, with 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday and 7am-3pm Friday, and a focus on GMP compliance, organisation, and teamwork.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP is desirable; physical lifting up to 25 kg is required.

Qualifications

• Data entry, organization, and communication skills required.
• GMP procedures compliance experience or awareness is a plus.
• Team player with ability to adjust and prioritise tasks as business requires.

Responsibilities

• Inbound: receive, inspect, verify shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Check quantities, item codes, product condition, and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Organise samples of packaging materials and labels for quality approval and retention.
• Ensure Certificate of Analysis (COA) accompanies all raw materials deliveries.
• Record received goods accurately in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and logbook; allocate locations.
• Print and label incoming stock; maintain accurate inbound records.
• Outbound: process and prepare shipments per documents and customer requirements.
• Verify order/shipment accuracy (items, quantities, weight, batch numbers, recipient).
• Prepare dispatch/shipping documentation and liaise with Finance and Quality teams.
• Update outbound transactions in the WMS; schedule collections with transport providers.
• Communicate shipment status or delays to customers, suppliers, sales, and managers.
• Keep the warehouse clean and safe; assist with stock transfers and consumable ordering.
