Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an experienced Warehouse Administrator for the day shift in Melbourne. The role involves checking container information in wharf and in-house systems, updating customer bookings and delivery schedules, and processing orders to keep clients informed and satisfied.

You will collate and record customer job details, enter data into in-house systems, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, including DAFF daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Seasoned customer service skills and DAFF experience.
• Ability to maintain and build rapport with existing and new customer base.
• Understanding of the Transport / Wharf Cartage business.
• Strong service orientation and customer-focused.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Check container information in wharf and in-house systems.
• Assist in updating customer bookings, delivery schedules, and order data processing.
• Collate and accurately record customer job details and information.
• Enter and review information into in-house systems.
• Maintain a proactive approach to keep clients informed of any matters affecting operations.
• Manage client work across the week to meet customer needs and ensure operational soundness.
• Foster a team environment coordinating with other divisions of the business.
• Keep clients advised of delays by monitoring the grid and liaising with fleet.
• Ensure operations comply with policies, procedures and legislative requirements for safety.
• Responsible for DAFF requirements daily across the business.
• Assist in upkeep and auditing requirements for DAFF.
