Monash Health in Dandenong Hospital is seeking a dedicated Ward Clerk to join the Acute Assessment Unit. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling patient information and coordinating non-clinical tasks to support clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Proven Ward Clerk or Administrative Officer with strong communication skills.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates empathy, adaptability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient information and records.
• Order and manage medical/surgical consumables for the unit.
• Build strong relationships with patients and carers.
• Orientate patients to our ward and procedures.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary health team.
• Support the team with non-clinical tasks.
