Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler; read plans and job specs.
• Skilled in preparing surfaces, laying tiles, cutting tiles, grouting and finishing.
• Familiar with WHS, safe work practices and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Examine plans, measure surfaces, and lay out work.
• Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, fill holes and cracks, and clean surfaces.
• Spread adhesive on prepared surfaces and set tiles in position.
• Cut and shape tiles using tile-cutting tools for edges and around fittings.
• Ensure tiles are correctly aligned and spaced.
• Grout tiles and clean/remove excess grout.
• Apply waterproofing systems.
• May lay floors of granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar.
• May lay coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaics.

We deliver reliable and professional tiling solutions with a strong focus on quality workmanship, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Key Duties and Responsibilities may Include but not limited to:

• Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work
• Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces
• Spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in position
• Using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes
• Ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced
• Grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout
• Applying waterproofing systems
• May lay floors of granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar composition
• May lay coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaics.

Skills and Experience:

Proven 1 year experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler , preferably in residential, commercial, or construction environments. Ability to read and interpret plans, measurements, and job specifications.

Skilled in preparing surfaces, laying tiles, cutting tiles, grouting, and completing finishing processes. Strong attention to detail, ensuring quality workmanship and accurate tile installation. Familiarity with WHS requirements, safe work practices, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
