Job summary

Hardline Tiling in Mackay is seeking a skilled Wall & Floor Tiler for a full-time Leading Hand role. You will measure, cut, install tiles and ensure high workmanship on residential and commercial projects.

Experience in tiling, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently are essential. You will liaise with clients and adhere to building codes and safety standards while delivering projects on time.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications or equivalent experience as a Wall & Floor Tiler.
• Certificate III in Wall/Floor Tiling required.
• Minimum 5+ years tiling experience.

Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare surfaces for tiling.
• Cut and install tiles on walls, floors and surfaces.
• Apply grout and sealants to finish tiling work.

About the role

Join the Hardline Tiling team as a Wall & Floor Tiler in Mackay, QLD. This Full-Time Leading Hand role will see you working on a variety of residential and commercial tiling projects, utilizing your expertise in the Building Trades industry.

What you'll be doing

• Measure and prepare surfaces for tiling
• Carefully cut and install tiles to walls, floors and other surfaces
• Apply grout and sealants to finish the tiling work
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality results
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and regulations
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment

What we're looking for

• Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience as a Wall & Floor Tiler
• Certificate III in Wall/Floor Tiling is required for this position
• Minimum of 5+ years of tiling experience is essential
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, precise tiling work
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
• Ability to work efficiently and independently to meet project timelines
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
• Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
