Job summary

Local Flow Eatery in Cotton Tree, QLD is seeking a Section Waiter to deliver a warm, attentive dining experience. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, handle payments at the POS, and keep the dining area clean and welcoming.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Section Waiter to join our team at Local Flow Eatery in the vibrant suburb of Cotton Tree, QLD. As a Section Waiter, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional dining experience to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and courteous way
• Maintaining a clean and well-organised dining area
• Handling cash and operating the point-of-sale system
• Responding to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns
• Supporting the team in other duties as needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, ideally as a Section Waiter or server, with minimum 5 yrs experience in fine dining or similar venues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
