Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Business Development Manager to own and grow a Western Australia territory, managing an existing portfolio and securing new business in civil construction, infrastructure, and related industries.

You will build strategic relationships with project managers and procurement teams, co-develop turnkey solutions with internal teams, and drive the full sales cycle from pipeline to tender submissions. A strong technical and consultative approach is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in business development, account management or external sales.
• Proven track record of winning new clients and growing existing accounts.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand equipment, software and systems.
• Willing to work in Western Australia with on-site/field duties.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a WA territory by managing existing portfolio and pursuing new business.
• Build strategic relationships with project managers, estimators, procurement teams and key decision-makers.
• Develop tailored turnkey solutions with internal teams and suppliers.
• Drive the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to tender submissions.
• Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service, maintain CRM records, and present quarterly sales plans.
• Stay ahead of the market by monitoring emerging technologies like Intelligent Transport Systems.
