Job summary

BMD Group in Perth, WA is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across Western Australia. You will contribute to managing commercial and contractual aspects, ensuring strong cost control, compliance, and effective stakeholder collaboration.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in a related discipline and prior contracts administration experience on civil or infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator on civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, cost control, and subcontract management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative project environment.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience on alliance projects or major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Administration and management of contracts in accordance with project requirements and alliance principles.
• Preparation and assessment of progress claims, variations, and cost forecasts.
• Supporting procurement activities, including subcontractor engagement and package management.
• Assisting with budget control, cost reporting, and financial tracking.
• Preparing commercial reports and supporting monthly project reporting cycles.
• Working closely with project, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure commercial alignment.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and contract records.
