Job summary

Australian Payments Plus is seeking a Head of Partnerships to set and lead the partnership strategy, build high-value, long-term relationships with key partners and stakeholders, and turn opportunity into sustainable commercial value across AP+.

You will shape major proposals, lead negotiations, and drive investment decisions while guiding a high-performing team across sales and customer engagement to strengthen loyalty and lifetime value.

Qualifications

• Senior leader with experience shaping strategic partnerships in complex organisations.
• Strong track record of building credibility with executive-level customers, partners and stakeholders.
• Experience leading complex commercial negotiations and significant proposals.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction for AP+’s partnership strategy and translate priorities into a portfolio of opportunities.
• Build and steward senior-level relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities based on strategic fit, demand, and value; guide investment decisions.
• Lead negotiations and proposals with senior customers and partners, including contractual outcomes.
• Shape investment appraisals and business cases, define success measures and value delivery.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team aligning partnership, sales and customer engagement.
