Job summary

Fusion People is seeking a Volumetric Concrete Mixer Driver / Operator to join its NSW operations team. This hands-on role involves operating and maintaining volumetric concrete mixers across a range of infrastructure projects, with local project work and interstate travel.

You will work day and night shifts, support safety practices, and contribute to high-quality concrete delivery on time. Applicants should hold HC or HR licence and White Card, and be able to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Solid computer literacy and ability to use systems for delivery records.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexibility to work day/night shifts and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and maintenance on volumetric mixers and equipment.
• Operate volumetric concrete mixers safely and efficiently.
• Deliver concrete to customer and project sites.
• Monitor slump tolerances and manage discharge requirements.
• Complete delivery documentation and operational records.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, allocators and customers.
• Undertake calibration activities on mixer units.
• Load materials and assist with yard operations.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles and work areas to a high standard.
• Provide operational feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to safety, environmental and quality management requirements.
