Job summary

Regional Group Australia is seeking an experienced Concrete Batcher/Driver to join our team in a permanent role at our Bedford Weir plant, Blackwater, QLD. You will batch concrete to design specs, allocate trucks, and supervise staff while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience batching concrete to specified mix designs.
• Plant operations and equipment calibration experience.
• Experience supervising staff with safety leadership.
• Able to pass Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Have HR driver's license and White Card and full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Batch concrete accurately to meet mix design specs.
• Allocate trucks to ensure smooth operations for customers.
• Coordinate repair and calibration of equipment.
• Supervise and manage staff on site.
• Demonstrate safety leadership and uphold safety standards.
• Maintain plant and equipment for high utilisation.
• Operate and drive agitator trucks.

Responsibilities Include

• Accurate batching of orders to meet the requirements of specified mix design
• Allocating trucks for ensure smooth operations for our customers
• Coordinate repair and calibration of equipment
• Supervision and management of staff
• Commitment to safety standards with demonstrated safety leadership behaviors.
• Maintaining plant and equipment in a cost-effective manner to deliver a high utilisation rate.
• Driving Agitator Trucks

Essential Requirements

• HR driver's license
• White card
• Relevant batching and/or concrete industry experience
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
• Full working rights within Australia
