Job summary

Sydney City Volkswagen in Sydney is seeking a New Vehicle Sales Consultant to deliver an outstanding customer experience and drive dealership growth. In this full-time role you will actively engage customers, understand their needs and match them with the right Volkswagen vehicle.

You will demonstrate vehicles, highlight features, negotiate deals and close sales, while coordinating with finance and after-sales teams.

Join the dynamic team at Sydney City Volkswagen as a New Vehicle Sales Consultant. In this role you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving the growth of our dealership. In this full-time position you will be responsible for actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and matching them with the perfect Volkswagen vehicle to suit their requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Actively engage with customers, understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on Volkswagen's range of commercial and passenger vehicles
• Demonstrate vehicles and their features to potential customers, highlighting the unique selling points
• Negotiate deals and close sales, ensuring a smooth and seamless purchasing experience
• Maintain excellent product knowledge to confidently advise customers and address any queries or concerns
• Liaise with the finance and after-sales teams to coordinate a comprehensive customer journey
• Contribute to the overall sales targets and growth objectives of the dealership

What we're looking for

• A passion for the Volkswagen brand and a thorough understanding of Volkswagen passenger vehicles
• Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Exceptional customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
• Previous sales experience within the automotive industry preferred
• Previous experience using Titan DMS will be highly regarded
