Job summary

Upper Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a part‑time Visitor Information Officer to enhance the visitor experience across the Southern Tablelands NSW. Based in Crookwell, you will staff the new Visitor Information Centre, deliver friendly service and promote local attractions.

You will work 32 hours per fortnight with weekend rosters and extra hours during peak periods, contributing to a supportive and community‑m-focused team.

Qualifications

• Quality customer service experience in tourism or retail environments.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Weekend roster availability as required.
• Current RSA certificate and Class C driver’s licence.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable visitor experiences at the Visitor Information Centre.
• Promote local attractions and services across the region.
• Support efficient operation of the new Visitor Information Centre in the pool and park precinct.
• Work weekend rosters and additional hours during summer events.
