Veeam Software is seeking a Virtualization Backup Engineer in North Sydney, Australia. You will troubleshoot, analyze logs, and act as the primary technical contact for IT professionals, guiding issues from start to resolution within Veeam and third-party environments.

You will document all interactions in the CRM, ensuring adherence to SLAs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product feedback and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Advanced user or administrative level with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 and Windows 10/11.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, OS/firewalls configuration, and networking troubleshooting.
• Plus: UNIX/Linux knowledge, VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, SQL/Oracle databases.
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and explain technical information.
• Ability to take ownership of client issues through resolution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and analysis, including log file investigation.
• Serve as technical focal point in relationships with IT professionals.
• Own customer problems from case start to resolution, troubleshoot in Veeam and third-party components.
• Document all customer interactions accurately within SLA in the CRM tool.
