Job summary

Data and AI Trust Company in North Sydney is seeking a Virtualization Backup Engineer to join our Technical Customer Support team onsite. You will troubleshoot, analyse log files, and own customer issues from initial contact through resolution.

A strong background in Windows Server, TCP/IP networking, and virtualization (VMware ESXi / Hyper‑V) is required; UNIX/Linux knowledge is a plus. You’ll work in a fast‑paced environment, documenting interactions and meeting SLA commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server 2016–2025 and Windows 10/11.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP networking and firewall configuration.
• Experience with VMware ESXi and Hyper‑V is preferred; SQL/Oracle knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and analyze log files to resolve issues.
• Act as technical focal point in relationships with IT professionals.
• Document customer interactions accurately within SLA in the CRM.
