Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is hiring a reliable Village/Industrial Cleaner for Merotherie NSW on a 14 days on/7 days off roster. Salary of $82,311 + Superannuation is paid, with Drive-In Drive-Out travel, meals and on-site accommodation provided during blocks. You’ll clean village facilities in a remote site, ensuring safety and hygiene. A White Card, industrial cleaning experience, a manual driver’s licence and medical/drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• White Card is mandatory.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or village cleaning.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Valid manual driving licence and reliable transport required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver linen to village and site areas.
• Clean village common areas including toilets.
• Clean amenities, toilets and BBQ facilities.
• Operate forklift following site procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

We are looking for reliable & experienced village / industrial style cleaner to join our team, located Merotherie NSW

• 14 days on, 7 days off roster
• Salary of $82,311 + Superannuation
• Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) role, ideally suited to candidates from Dubbo, Dunedoo and surrounding areas
• Supportive and professional team environment
• Accommodation and meals provided while on site

The Position

As a Village Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering linen throughout the village and surrounding site areas
• General cleaning of village common areas inclusive of toilet blocks
• Cleaning amenities, toilet blocks and BBQ facilities
• Operating a forklift in accordance with site procedures
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety

The Person

• A current White Card
• Previous experience in industrial, commercial or village-style cleaning
• A strong work ethic, reliability and positive can-do attitude
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A flexible, team-focused approach and willingness to assist across departments
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety procedures
• The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening (at no cost to you)
• A current manual driver's licence and reliable transport for DIDO travel
