Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited seeks an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to manage teams in remote accommodation villages in Moura, Central Queensland. This role operates on a 14 days on/10 days off, drive-in, drive-out roster, with locals encouraged to apply.

You will lead, train and support a hands-on team to meet contractual cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate has mine site housekeeping experience, a valid Australian driver’s license, and strong communication skills to maintain safety

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role on a mine site is preferred.
• Commercial experience in hotel, mining, or resort environments.
• Open Australian Driver's Licence.
• Ability to lead a team with ownership and responsibility.
• Commitment to driving a positive and sustainable safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead a housekeeping team to ensure facilities are clean and compliant with contractual obligations.
• Train, lead and motivate the team, working with management to achieve results.

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Housekeeping Supervisors to work on our remote accommodation villages in Moura, Central Queensland.

This role is 14 days on, 10 days off 10 day and is drive-in, drive-out, therefore locals are encouraged to apply.

The Position

• You will be responsible for leading a team within our housekeeping department to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations
• You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside management to achieve desired results
• This is a physical, hands-on role, where you are expected to also work alongside the team

The Person

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role- Mine Site and Housekeeping Cleaning experience will be highly regarded
• Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
• Open Australian Drivers License
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
