Job summary

Compass Group Australia is seeking residential cleaning staff to service homes and units in the Central Queensland region on a drive-in, drive-out basis, supporting Anglo American projects in Moranbah.

The role involves cleaning, linen changes, waste collection, and adhering to health and hygiene standards; you must be physically able to work 10-hour days and have a valid driver's license and reliable car, or be willing to fly in/out of Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Must have Driver's License and reliable car OR willing to fly in and fly out of Brisbane.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for long hours and perform physical work.
• Willing to obtain a National Police Clearance and pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
• Works well in a team or autonomously

• $76503 + Super
• Roster 8/6 (8 days on and 6 days off) 10hr working day
• All accommodation and meals included

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

We are currently experiencing a significant growth phase in the remote sector, specifically throughout our Central QLD Region. Having recently been awarded an exciting new project with Anglo American, servicing villages in Moranbah.

The Position:

• Cleaning and servicing homes and units
• Changing linen and general waste collection
• Adhering to strict health, safety and hygiene standards
• Physically active role, must be able to work 10-hour days

The Person:

• Must have Driver's License and reliable car OR willing to fly in and fly out of Brisbane
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to stand for long hours and use to physical work
• Previous residential and bond cleaning experience desirable but not necessary
• Willing to work a FIFO roster in remote areas
• Willing to obtain a National Police ClearanceAble to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test
• Working within a team and sometimes autonomously
