Job summary

White Bay Search is expanding its Victorian IT consulting footprint, seeking a talented Business Development professional to own the Victoria territory and drive new business with enterprise, government and mid-market clients. You’ll work directly with the Managing Director and technical specialists to uncover client needs, shape opportunities, and move deals through qualification, proposal and close.

A home-based setup with regular client meetings is supported, and a commission structure

Qualifications

Evidence you can create opportunities and drive deals from discovery to close.
Able to handle rejection and maintain momentum with clients.
Based in Victoria with ability to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

Generate new business via targeted outreach, networking, referrals and partnerships.
Build relationships with IT, infrastructure and business decision makers.
Develop existing accounts through additional services and longer-term engagements.
Own opportunities from first contact through qualification, proposal, negotiation and handover.
Involve technical specialists in conversations when needed.
Maintain an organised pipeline, accurate forecasts and constant follow-up.
