Job summary

White Bay is recruiting for a Victoria-based IT consulting sales role. You will take over the Victorian territory from an established salesperson, working with the Managing Director and technical specialists to uncover client needs and move opportunities to close.

You will generate new business, manage relationships with IT and business decision-makers, and grow existing accounts through additional services. A commission structure and home-based flexibility accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Experience selling IT services, managed services or technology solutions.
• Ability to create opportunities and manage deals from initial contact to close.
• Comfort listening closely before proposing a tailored solution.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through targeted outreach, networking, referrals and partner relationships.
• Build relationships with IT, infrastructure and business decision makers.
• Develop existing accounts through additional services and longer-term engagements.
• Own opportunities from first contact through qualification, proposal, negotiation and handover.
• Bring technical specialists into conversations at the right time.
• Maintain an organised pipeline, accurate forecasts and consistent follow-up.
