Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Sydney seeks a results-driven Vice President – Systems & Business Optimisation to lead enterprise-wide transformation. You will drive system implementations, data governance, and process redesign to improve efficiency and decision-making at scale.

Ideally you bring 10+ years leading complex business transformations in aviation or global logistics, with exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communications skills to engage executives and boards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience leading business transformation, operational excellence, or systems implementation in complex organisations; aviation sector preferred.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities with a strategic, data-driven mindset.
• Proven ability to influence at Executive and Board level and drive cross-functional change.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to drive operational efficiency, productivity, and service delivery improvements.
• Lead the implementation and enhancement of business systems across the organisation.
• Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards to provide actionable insights.

Role Purpose

The Vice President - Systems and Business Optimisation (OSEA) is responsible for driving business transformation through the effective implementation, optimisation, technology, data, and business processes. The role partners with operational and functional leaders to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

The position will lead system implementation projects, business process redesign, reporting enhancements, and data governance initiatives to improve operational performance, employee experience, compliance, and business decision-making.

What you will be doing

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, service delivery, and cost effectiveness.
• Lead the implementation and enhancement of business systems across the organisation.
• Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
• Develop project plans, timelines, risk registers, and stakeholder communication plans.
• Drive improvements in data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy.
• Manage multiple business transformation projects simultaneously.
• Build strong relationships with operational leaders, HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and external vendors.
• Act as the business lead for system projects including HRIS, payroll, workforce management, recruitment, document management, and reporting platforms.
