Job summary

RSL Queensland invites applications for the Veteran and Family Wellbeing Centre Manager in Townsville. You will lead the Centre’s daily operations, ensure high-quality support for veterans, families and the Defence community, and report to the Head of VFWC Operations.

You’ll develop the local team, manage operations, build partnerships with ex-service organisations and government agencies, drive continuous improvement and ensure compliant service delivery.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience leading teams and managing service delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience managing competing priorities in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated operational, project and problem-solving capability.
• Strong written, verbal and reporting skills.
• Experience in community services, customer-focused support or centre management is highly regarded.
• Current open Australian driver licence
• Blue Card or ability to obtain one
• Understanding of the Defence and veteran community is desirable
