RSL Queensland is seeking a dedicated relationship-builder to support veterans and their families across Queensland. Based in Mackay with regional travel and after-hours community engagement, you will collaborate with District Office and Sub Branches to guide volunteering groups and connect people to essential services.
You’ll influence outcomes, nurture partnerships, and produce reports while managing priorities in a dynamic, community-focused environment.
Based in Mackay, this permanent full-time role works closely with our District Office and more than 230 Sub Branches across Queensland, helping volunteer-led organisations access the guidance, resources and support they need to thrive.
This is a highly relationship-focused role where you'll influence outcomes, build trusted partnerships and connect veterans and communities with the services they need.
Regular regional travel is required, along with occasional after-hours attendance at community and veteran events, so flexibility is essential.
You're an experienced relationship-builder who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders and can influence without direct authority. You thrive in community-focused environments, are comfortable working independently and are passionate about supporting those who serve others.
We welcome applications from veterans, Reservists, military family members, and professionals from stakeholder engagement, community development, local government, membership organisations, not-for-profit organisations and veteran-support services.
For more than 100 years, we've supported veterans and their families through care, commemoration and camaraderie. Powered by Australia's most successful prize home lottery, we're growing our impact across Queensland and creating meaningful opportunities for people who want to make a difference.
