RSL Queensland in Mackay seeks an experienced relationship-builder to support veterans and families by building trusted partnerships with Sub Branches and community stakeholders. You will travel regionally and engage with diverse groups to connect people with services and supports.

The role focuses on collaboration, reports, and managing competing priorities, with after-hours community involvement a requirement. Applications from veterans and related sectors are welcome.

Qualifikationen

• Experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Experience supporting volunteers or member-based organisations.
• Willingness to travel regionally and attend after-hours events.
• Current Driver Licence and Working with Children Card (or ability to obtain).

Aufgaben

• Build trusted relationships with Sub Branch committees and community stakeholders to improve outcomes for veterans and their families.
• Support volunteer-led organisations to navigate local challenges and opportunities.
• Connect veterans, families and communities with relevant services and support programs.
• Influence positive outcomes through collaboration, community engagement and partnerships.
• Prepare reports, manage budgets and coordinate competing priorities.
