Job summary

The BUSY Group is a not-for-profit dedicated to helping Defence personnel transition to civilian careers. This permanent full-time office-based role in Townsville focuses on coaching, resume support, and career planning to translate military experience into meaningful employment opportunities.

You will empower veterans and transitioning service members, building pathways through education, training and community partnerships to achieve successful outcomes across Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in employment services or career coaching
• ADF service in last five years (minimum 4 years)
• Empathy and credibility when supporting others
• Able to obtain baseline security clearance and background checks

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with transitioning ADF members to identify transferable skills and explore civilian careers.
• Assist participants with resumes, job search strategies, interview prep and career planning.
• Guide individuals toward education and vocational pathways, including RPL and training.
• Develop relationships with employers, training providers and community networks to create employment pathways.
