Job summary

Chisholm Institute in Melbourne invites applications for a Schools and Industry Business Partner to drive statewide expansion of the Educator Passport program and strengthen industry ties across Victorian secondary schools.

You will lead onboarding and engagement activities, build partnerships with schools, employers and industry networks, and translate plans into practical actions while monitoring participation and outcomes.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree and postgraduate qualification with experience in education, vocational education and training, project or program implementation, stakeholder engagement, industry partnerships, workforce development or a related field.
• Lesser formal qualifications combined with extensive relevant experience and demonstrated specialist expertise in education, project implementation, stakeholder engagement, industry partnerships, workforce development or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined implementation activities for statewide expansion of Educator Passport to secondary school VET educators.
• Develop and implement scalable onboarding, engagement and lead approaches for participating schools and educators.
• Act as a key specialist contact for school-based VET educators and stakeholders across Victoria, providing advice and resolving complex participation and implementation issues.
• Build relationships with secondary schools, VET coordinators, educators, school leaders and education networks across Victoria.
• Maintain regular engagement with participating schools and educators to manage sustained participation in Academy initiatives.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic relationships with employers, industry associations and other industry partners.
• Identify and progress partnership opportunities aligned with Academy priorities, educator capability needs and industry workforce trends.
• Motivate partners and educators to identify professional development and industry currency opportunities.
• Plan and lead professional development, workshops, industry engagement activities and educator currency events.
