Victorian Department of Education is seeking a VET Cluster Coordinator to lead local VET planning across schools and training providers. You will shape cluster planning, align delivery with state frameworks, and improve access to VET for secondary students.

You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, manage complex programs, and drive localised planning within area teams, travelling as required to support delivery and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Demonstrated ability to model behaviours consistent with Department values and support colleagues to adopt these behaviours.
• Expertise in secondary school VET and understanding of DE, VCAA, VRQA, and ASQA policies.
• Experience coordinating the delivery of VET across schools and training providers.
• Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for managing complex needs.
• Effective communication, including reporting and conveying policies to stakeholders.
• Ability to translate policies into programs and projects achieving cluster objectives.
• Flexible and collaborative, able to respond quickly to change and work with partners.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinating and managing cluster governance and operations groups.
• Leading planning and development of new programs and services to increase opportunities for young people in the cluster.
• Monitoring and evaluating cluster performance and designing improvement strategies.
• Supporting school-based VET Coordinators and providing professional development.
• Assisting with the DE VET platform introduction and implementation.
• Identifying enrolment trends and planning to address access and provision gaps.
• Coordinating the cluster's transport needs and managing contracts.
• Liaising with transport providers on service availability, routes, costs and scheduling.
• Maintaining cluster documentation and providing information for reporting.
• Performing additional duties within capacity as required.
