Job summary

Community Housing Limited is seeking a Housing and Property Officer to join our Housing Services team in a hands-on role delivering tenancy and property management across CHL owned and leased properties.

This role is based in Port Macquarie with occasional travel to Kempsey and requires flexibility to support operational needs across multiple functions, including tenancy sign-ups, rent reviews, maintenance coordination and asset-related projects.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience in community housing or tenancy management.
• Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act.
• Understanding of WHS practices.
• Experience with rent, arrears, and maintenance coordination.
• Driver's Licence and ability to obtain a White/Green Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide tenancy and property management leadership across CHL properties.
• Support the Housing Services and Property Operations teams with day-to-day tasks.
• Coordinate responsive maintenance with contractors and track progress against KPIs.
• Manage rental collection and arrears processes in a timely manner.
• Complete tenancy sign-ups, rent reviews and exit procedures.
• Maintain accurate property and tenancy records in required systems.
• Support reporting, compliance and customer service activities.
