Funlab in Northbridge, Perth, is launching a brand-new entertainment and hospitality concept. As Venue Manager, you’ll lead pre-opening and drive culture, guest experience, and team development.

You’ll oversee operations, food, beverage, immersive gaming, safety, and financial performance, reporting to the State Manager. If you thrive in fast-paced hospitality and have a proven record in high-volume venues, this is your chance to shape a flagship venue from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Venue Manager or General Manager in hospitality, entertainment, bars, pubs, or premium casual dining.
• Experience leading from the floor in high-volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails and premium beverage programs.
• Experience managing late-night trade and busy weekend service.
• Passion for developing teams, building culture, and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Commercially savvy with labour, costs, and venue performance.

About the Role

This is more than a Venue Manager position.

You will be the driving force behind bringing a brand-new concept to life, creating the culture, developing the team, and delivering an outstanding guest experience from day one.

Reporting to the State Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of venue performance including operations, people, guest experience, commercial results, safety, and bar operations.

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments and has experience managing high-volume trade, premium beverage programs, and late-night operations.
