Job summary

Funlab in Northbridge, WA is launching a premium entertainment and hospitality concept. We are seeking a Venue Manager to drive the pre-opening, shape culture, build a high-performing team, and deliver an outstanding guest experience from day one.

Reporting to the State Manager, you will oversee operations, people, guest experience, commercial results, safety, and bar operations in a fast-paced, late-night environment, with a strong beverage program and immersive experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or General Manager in hospitality.
• Experience managing high-volume trade and premium beverage programs.
• Ability to lead from the floor and develop teams.
• Strong focus on guest experience and safety.
• Commercially savvy with labour and cost management.

About the Role

This is more than a Venue Manager position.

You will be the driving force behind bringing a brand-new concept to life, creating the culture, developing the team, and delivering an outstanding guest experience from day one.

Reporting to the State Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of venue performance including operations, people, guest experience, commercial results, safety, and bar operations.

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments and has experience managing high-volume trade, premium beverage programs, and late-night operations.

What you bring

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or General Manager in hospitality, entertainment, bars, pubs, or premium casual dining
• Understanding of high-volume operations and knows how to lead from the floor
• Strong bar and beverage knowledge, including cocktail-led environments
• Experience managing late-night trade and busy weekend service
• Passion for developing teams, building culture, and creating memorable guest experiences
• Commercially savvy and confident managing labour, costs, and venue performance
