Job summary

Funlab is seeking a Venue Manager for Strike, Holey Moley & Archie Brothers Point Cook. You will lead a large, diverse team across multiple experiences, driving guest satisfaction, revenue, and operational excellence in a fast-paced entertainment venue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing a busy entertainment/hospitality venue.
• Valid RSA and state-approved managers license.
• Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead with energy to motivate the team and create unforgettable experiences.
• Drive revenue through upselling and excellent guest service.
• Transform the venue into a top FUN destination.
• Oversee front of house and back of house functions, including rosters, recruitment, training, and P&L management.
• Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive culture and mentor a high-energy team.

What You'll Do

• Lead with energy: Be a hands-on, guest-focused leader who motivates your team to create unforgettable experiences
• Boost revenue: Drive up and cross selling to enhance the guest experience and go the extra mile to wow our guests. Run amazing shifts with your commercial mindset
• Create WOW spaces: Transform your venue into the ultimate FUN destination
• Support your team: Inspire and mentor a high-energy team of customer service, bartender and function host pros
• Manager & oversee operations: Take control of front of house & back of house portfolios like rosters, recruitment, training, P&L management, forecasting, and more
• Cultivate culture: Build a collaborative, inclusive vibe that makes coming to work exciting
• Grow and shine: Amplify your skills and those of your team while mastering all aspects of a bustling entertainment venue

What You've Got

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience managing a busy entertainment / hospitality venue
• A valid RSA, relevant state approved managers license and Working with Children Check
• Availability to work nights and weekends. After all, that’s where the action is at!
• An obsession with providing the best guest experiences
• Experience in driving revenues on shift
• Proactive, with a sense of urgency and a positive can-do attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well organised planner who works well under timeline pressures and tackling multiple priorities
• Capable problem-solver and thinking on your feet
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with different stakeholders
• A desire to show off what you've got and what heights you can take the business!
