Job summary

ALH Hotels on the Gold Coast is seeking a REAL Venue Manager in Biggera Waters (Dublin Docks) to lead hospitality operations with a hands-on, front-line leadership style.

This senior role requires RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications, a strong P&L mindset, and a passion for turning locals into loyal guests through exceptional service and community leadership.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership role in a pub/hospitality setting.
• Must hold RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as per state requirements.
• Experience turning guests into loyal patrons with strong crew management.

A day in the life of a Venue Manager:

• You know the locals by name, they reckon you're one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
• You run the place like it's your own modern-day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant.
• You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
• You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
• You bring the vibe, the service, and the smiles – every shift, every day.

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

Hold current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as per state requirements
