• Extensive experience in high-end bar or premium nightlife environments.
• Experience running bar operations, service standards and guest experience.
• Passion and knowledge of beverage trends and creative mixology.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, including financial management and business performance optimisation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style with attention to detail.
• High energy and commitment to delivering unforgettable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily venue operations across late-night trade, including evenings and weekends.
• Drive exceptional guest experiences and uphold luxury service standards.
• Lead, coach and develop bar, floor and host teams to high performance.
• Oversee event execution and collaborate with culinary, marketing and events teams.
• Manage financial performance including revenue growth, labour and cost control.
• Ensure operational efficiency, compliance and consistent service excellence.

• Extensive experience in high-end bar or premium nightlife environments
• Strong operational leadership with the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced setting
• Passion for exceptional guest service and creating memorable, personalised experiences
• Deep understanding of beverage trends with a flair for creative cocktail culture
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach and develop teams through structured onboarding and 1:1s

The Role:

CirQ is Sydney’s premier rooftop bar experience, offering a sophisticated and vibrant atmosphere where service, creativity and precision come together. As Venue Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring consistency in service, profitability and team engagement while delivering seamless, high-end guest experiences across every shift.

You’ll be:

• Leading daily venue operations across late-night trade, working a flexible 5-day roster across 7 days, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Driving exceptional guest experiences and upholding luxury service standards
• Leading, coaching and developing bar, floor and host teams to deliver high performance
• Overseeing event execution and collaborating with culinary, marketing and events teams
• Managing financial performance including revenue growth, labour and cost control
• Ensuring operational efficiency, compliance and consistent service excellence
• Leading from the floor and supporting service delivery as required

You’ll bring:

• Extensive experience in high-end bar or premium nightlife environments
• Experience running bar operations, service standards and guest experience
• Passion and knowledge of beverage trends and creative mixology
