Key responsibilities

• Lead the whole floor, anticipate what needs attention and keep the team focused on the right priorities throughout service
• Set clear expectations, coach in the moment, develop staff and address performance issues fairly and directly
• Keep the venue organised and service-ready, resolve issues and work closely with the kitchen to maintain clear communication and smooth service
• Plan staffing around trade, understand labour costs and use the team effectively while protecting the guest experience
• Manage POS updates, menus and pricing, reporting and everyday administration

About you

• Strong track record leading a busy café, restaurant or similar hospitality venue, with practical examples of teams you've developed and operations you've improved
• Comfortable with computers, POS systems and reporting, as well as the people-facing side of the role
• Experienced Venue or Restaurant Manager, or an exceptional Assistant Manager who is genuinely ready for the next step
• Professional and polished approach, but warm and natural
• Take responsibility, make decisions, follow things through and keep standards consistent
