Job summary

Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co is opening a new Perth CBD venue at Brookfield Place. They seek a Venue Manager to lead the launch, build the team, and create a welcoming social hub with 24 taps and premium food.

You’ll open, recruit, roster, train Front-of-House staff, and drive service excellence while coordinating with the Head Chef for lunch and dinner service. Craft beer enthusiasm is a bonus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience as a Venue Manager or senior Assistant Manager in a busy bar, pub or restaurant
• A current Approved Manager certificate (essential) and RSA
• A natural leader who builds a great team culture, with the energy to keep it going on a busy Friday night
• Commercially minded, with a proven ability to keep wages and stock under control
• Passionate about hospitality and genuinely good with guests
• Craft beer knowledge is a bonus, and enthusiasm for it is a must

• Setting up and opening our new venue, and leading the team day to day
• Recruiting, rostering, training, and developing Front-of-House staff
• Delivering a high standard of service, from the first pint to the last
• Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team for smooth lunch and dinner service
• Controlling wages through smart rostering, and managing stock, ordering and wastage
• Driving sales through events, functions, corporate bookings and local partnerships
• Keeping on top of liquor licensing, health, safety and compliance
• Keeping communication open and respectful across the whole team

Venue Manager: New Perth CBD Venue (Brookfield Place)

Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co has built a workplace around quality, humour, and being genuinely good at what we do. We're an award-winning WA brewery, and we're opening our newest venue in the heart of Perth CBD at Brookfield Place in late December 2026. We're looking for a Venue Manager to lead the launch and make it the social heart of the precinct.

This is a brand new venue with 24 taps of our beer, wines from our Margaret River neighbours and elevated pub food, serving lunch and dinner. You'll have the support of our leadership team behind you and the chance to build the team, the culture and the regulars from day one, as part of a growing, WA-focused beverage manufacturing and hospitality group.

About you:
