Job summary

X-Golf in Liverpool is seeking a dedicated Venue Manager to lead the new Liverpool venue. You will oversee daily operations, drive guest experience, manage staff, and coordinate events and bookings to ensure the venue’s success.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will champion a positive culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize rosters, stock, and POS accuracy to support revenue growth in a dynamic indoor entertainment venue.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in hospitality venue management or leadership roles.
• Flexibility to operate seven days a week.
• Current RSA and Licensee Training.
• Food safety supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Current driver’s license and own car.

X-Golf is Australia's largest indoor golf entertainment venue, and as a result of continued growth nation-wide we are looking for a new Venue Manager for our newest venue in Liverpool!

With 6 state-of-the-art golf simulators, a full bar and kitchen, topped off with a high-end audio-visual setup for music and sports, X-Golf & Hey Caddy Liverpool is positioned to be one of the go-to destinations for year-round indoor entertainment. Pair that with our 18 hole mini Golf option, and we have it all!

The Role

To assist us with the operation and management of this venue, we are actively recruiting a new Venue Manager to build, develop and lead the team to success into the future.

The role will be reporting to and receiving support from the General Manager, and will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

• Become the face of X-Golf & Hey Caddy Liverpool, ensuring a high standard of customer experience and driving venue success
• Creating a positive work environment and culture through effective leadership of the team
• Working to achieve performance metrics and revenue drivers set by the General Manager
• Recruiting, supporting, training, and developing staff to ensure operational excellence in venue
• Ensuring that rosters are efficiently written and maintained
• Managing stock levels, ordering, and stocktaking on a regular basis
• Managing customer bookings and events
• Maintaining the Point of Sale (POS) system and ensuring accuracy of data entry
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as OLGR, food safety, and OH&S

To be successful in your application, you will be able to demonstrate all, if not a combination of the following:

• A minimum of two (2) years of hospitality venue management / leadership experience
• Flexibility across seven operating days
• Current RSA and Licensee Training
• Food safety supervisor certification (or the willingness to obtain)
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills across all stakeholders
• Basic computer, technology, and word processing skills
• Current driver’s license and own car

Additionally, any of the following would be looked upon favourably, but are not essential:

• A basic knowledge or interest in golf
• Experience with POS and inventory systems
• Experience with rostering software
• Local community connections
