Job summary

Kindtide is seeking a Head of Venue for a Melbourne-based, on-site role in the heart of Southbank. The role focuses on growing the venue's commercial offering, merging business development, event delivery and venue operations to unlock the space's potential.

Commercial mindset with strong organisational and relationship skills.
Ability to spot opportunities and convert them into bookings.

Responsibilities

Lead on growing the venue's commercial offering across venue hire, corporate events, launches and private functions.
Develop proposals and event packages for clients and manage the end-to-end process.
Build relationships that convert to bookings, repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with hospitality partners, suppliers, technical teams and internal stakeholders.
Manage budgets, pricing, revenue targets and overall commercial performance.
Identify smarter, more efficient ways to deliver memorable experiences.
Take ownership of the event journey from initial conversation to planning and delivery.
