Job summary

Google Cloud in Sydney, Australia is seeking a Venture Capital Business Development Executive to drive strategic partnerships with leading VC firms and startups. You will set goals, build relationships with portfolio leaders, and shape the value proposition for Google's cloud services.

You will collaborate with regional sales and internal teams to create ecosystem strategies, expand executive relationships, and translate partnerships into long-term agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with investment banking, Consulting, Partnerships or Business Development roles with C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Google Cloud's partnerships efforts within your designated portfolio of leading Venture Capital firms.
• Work closely with Google Cloud regional sales leadership and other internal stakeholders to develop ecosystem strategy for the region, and Venture Capital partner-specific strategies.
• Build and expand long-term relationships with the key partners at assigned Venture Capitals, translating into long-term partnership agreements with Venture Capital firms.
• Reach out and develop relationships with Venture Capital portfolio companies in coordination with local sales teams and help sales teams prioritize portfolio companies to goal.
• Drive value creation for the portfolio companies through the adoption and usage of Google Cloud services, liaising with various functions internally to address the needs of portfolio companies.
