Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Vehicle Service Attendant for our Rockhampton store to prepare rental vehicles to a ready-to-rent standard. You will perform safety checks and detail vehicles to Hertz standards, driving them safely within policy.

Based in Rockhampton, you may travel to other QLD stores as needed. Applicants should have excellent communication, strong attention to detail, reliability, and a current Australian driver’s license (automatic vehicles).

About the Role?

As a Vehicle Service Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior of rental vehicles is kept to a ready-to-rent standard for our valued customers. You will be based at our Rockhampton store, and you may be required to work at other QLD stores within reasonable travel distance. In this role you will;

Detail vehicles to the Hertz standard

Ensure that vehicles are in a road worthy condition through performing safety checks

Drive vehicles in a safe manner & adhere to all Hertz policies & procedures

Work efficiently and effectively in a fun team environment

Ensure work area is clean, safe and free of hazards

About You?

To be successful in this position, our newest team member will have the following:

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player

Great attention to detail

Flexibility of working hours (7-day shift work including weekends & public holidays may apply)

Ability to show reliability and autonomy within their work

A full and current AU driver’s license with the ability to drive automatic vehicles
