Job summary

SMART is hiring a Trade Qualified Panel Beater for our South Morang team. Permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday with guaranteed overtime; 7:30am–5:00pm. Join a modern workshop with industry-leading repair technology and ongoing national training programs.

Key duties include repairing bodies, reading repair methods, and delivering quality workmanship. NSW trade licence and full Australian work rights are required. Great career progression across AMA Group network.

Qualifications

• Qualified Panel Beater with NSW Trade licence.
• Proven experience in a smash repair environment.
• Able to work efficiently to scope without compromising quality.
• Full Australian work rights.

• Repairing and straightening damaged vehicle bodies, panels and frames.
• Removing and replacing panels where repair is not viable.
• Reading and interpreting repair methods and job cards.
• Working to repair scope and time targets.

What You'll Be Doing

• Repairing and straightening damaged vehicle bodies, panels, and frames
• Removing and replacing panels where repair is not viable
• Reading and interpreting repair methods and job cards
• Working to repair scope and time targets
• Maintaining quality standards at every stage of the repair process
• Operating workshop equipment safely and in line with procedures

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Panel Beater with NSW Trade licence
• Proven experience in a smash repair environment
• Ability to work efficiently to scope without compromising quality
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and a solid team player
• Full Australian work rights required
