Capital SMART is Australia and New Zealand's leading accident repair network, with 60+ sites delivering high-quality, high-volume repairs every day. We're looking for a reliable Vehicle Assembler to join our Brookvale SMART team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You'll play a key part in the repair process — stripping vehicles down before work begins and refitting them once panel and paint work is complete, ensuring every car leaves the workshop looking and functioning as it should.

Qualifications

• Experience in smash repair, mechanical, or automotive assembly environments.
• High attention to detail and quality-first mindset.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit bumpers, lights, trims, glass, and mechanical components.
• Prepare vehicles for panel and paint work.
• Reassemble vehicles post‑repair to manufacturer specifications.
• Check work for quality and accuracy before sign‑off.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area.
• Complete job cards and documentation accurately.

The Opportunity

Seeking a skilled Vehicle Assembler to complete our Brookvale SMART team.

You'll play a key part in the repair process — stripping vehicles down before work begins and refitting them once panel and paint work is complete, ensuring every car leaves the workshop looking and functioning as it should.

Permanent position, Monday to Friday with your overtime guaranteed! 45 hrs per week, no weekends!

What you'll be doing:

• Removing and refitting bumpers, lights, trims, glass, and mechanical components
• Preparing vehicles for panel and paint work
• Reassembling vehicles post-repair to manufacturer specifications
• Checking your work for quality and accuracy before sign-off
• Maintaining a clean, organised work area
• Completing job cards and documentation accurately

What we're looking for:

• Experience in a smash repair, mechanical, or automotive assembly environment
• Familiarity with vehicle components and how they fit together
• Ability to work efficiently within a production-style repair process
• High attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
