Job summary

SMART Lane Cove is seeking an experienced Automotive Vehicle Assembler to reassemble repaired vehicles, ensuring safety and operability for the next stage of the process.

This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers guaranteed overtime, with no weekend work, in a modern workshop equipped with leading repair technology. Career progression within AMA Group is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle assembly or a light mechanical role.
• Background in collision repairs or a similar industry desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble vehicles in accordance with documented procedures and processes.
• Test and evaluate reassembly for safety and operability.
• Undertake ad hoc duties throughout the workshop as directed by leadership.
• Ensure the vehicle is cleaned in accordance with documented processes and procedures.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Vehicle Assembler to complete our skilled team at SMART Lane Cove.

This is a full-time role - Monday to Friday, 6.30 am to 4.00 pm. Your weekly overtime is guaranteed! No weekends!

As a Vehicle Assembler, you’ll be responsible for reassembling repaired vehicles to ensure they’re safe, operable and ready for the next stage of the process.

If you are committed to working in a safe and collaborative manner and, have experience in Collision Repairs (or similar industry), we want to hear from you!

With safety, quality and care and the forefront of everything you do, your new role will include, but not be limited to;

• Reassemble vehicles in accordance with documented procedures and processes.
• Test and evaluate reassembly for safety and operability.
• Any ad hoc duties throughout the workshop as directed by leadership.
• Ensuring the vehicle is cleaned in accordance with documented processes and procedures.
